A museum-quality fine art giclée print of this beautiful winter scene by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch.
“New Snow on the Avenue”. Edvard Munch. 1906.
This beautiful Duille fine art print features Edvard Munch’s stunning landscape.
About the work
“New Snow on the Avenue” is the most developed work of a series completed around the same time. “Children on the Street”, another canvas and “Road with Trees”, a pencil sketch both inform “New Snow…” in their colouring and perspective. Here the billowing rounded forms of the trees and snow, the candy-like colours and the jolly, bright clothing worn by the children produce a work of great charm. Perhaps more than any other snow scene painted by Munch this work has a calmness of mood capturing a simple but beautifully observed winter moment.
This is a museum-quality archival print made using materials which will last for many years.
