About Willow Herb
The drawing was Buxted in Sussex close to where Mackintosh was working in 1919.
Our card has been reproduced in stunning detail, close to actual size directly from the original drawing. By kind permission from the collection of The University of Glasgow we can reproduce this beautiful work for you to enjoy. It’s full of lively, colourful detail and features the flowers and unopened fruits of the plant.
Throughout his entire life the study and representation of flowers was to be a driving passion and a defining foundation of the artist’s visual language.
Generously sized, the reverse of the card features further interesting information about the work along with a portrait of the artist.
The quality of the print is so good it could be framed!
